Sales 101

January 11th, 2010 by gforce14

I hope everyone out there had a great weekend and we are going to kick off the new week by talking about sales. We spent last week getting you in the right mindset to be a great salesperson. So let’s start off with PMA=OPM. Great, another acronym for me to remember, right? Well write this one down and stick it to your wall, up in your office, on the bathroom mirror, somewhere that you can see it every day and remind yourself daily. PMA = Positive Mental Attitude, OPM= Other People’s Money. Every person that you see, meet or talk too has your money in their pocket, you just have to give them a good enough reason to give it to you. The first step is to always remember that people buy you, before they buy your product. They buy your charm, wit, charisma, humor, smile, attitude, & good looks. Everyday do a basic “check-up from the neck up” and make sure that you are mentally prepared with the right attitude to go succeed. I don’t care what you are selling and what price you are selling it at, your potential customer has to buy you before they are open to buying your product.

The next memory point is that people in general love to buy things and that they absolutely HATE to be sold. Look around the next time you go to the mall, people everywhere are shopping their little hearts out. I want you to think about the last time you walked into a store and the salesperson, came up to you and said” May I help you?”, to which you replied “NO!, Just Looking”

Operating on the assumption that you are there to buy something, why did you just send the person that could help you buy whatever it is away? Simple, you want to be in control and get that salesperson whenever you want to get him/her. I have told every salesperson I have ever trained, sell it like you would like to have it sold to you. You will never ever sell something to someone that doesn’t already want to buy it. You can help that person make the decision to buy the product by educating them on the products. I always talk about features, benefits, the “why’s ” of the product.

So, lesson one, do not try to sell anything, let the product take care of selling itself. I know that sounds a little strange, but the reality is that if you have a good product, it will sell itself thru you and the way that you present it. Every sale will be made up of four basic elements, they are “Pitch”, “Warm-up”, “Demo”, and “Close” <br
Over this week I will be talking about each one of the steps in detail so stay tuned. So why is this blogger talking to you about sales you ask? Simple, The Trump Network is a business, and we have a product line that needs to be sold. My goal is to help you grow your business, and if you take the right mindset and apply some of the basic sales techniques we will discuss over this week, not only will you be enjoying better health by using our line of products, but you will be tapping into the unlimited income opportunity that only “The Donald” could make possible. Here’s to your health and wealth over the next year.

Week 1: 52 Weeks to Achieving Life’s Rewards

January 8th, 2010 by treasure

This week’s lesson is “No One Drifts to Success”.

There is a simple question that you can ask any successful person and there is no doubt they will have a quick, decisive answer.

“What is your one definite purpose in life – and what plans have you made to attain it?”

I have no doubt that every single successful person that you encounter with that question will gladly give you their answer.  Why, because they have spent years, months, days, hours, minutes refining that simple question.  And it is the answer to that question that drives them.

So I ask you.  What is your one definite purpose in life?  This is the first week in your 52 Steps to Achieving Life’s Rewards.

The answer to this question will define your success.  I don’t want to hear, “I’d like to make a good living and be happy.”  Everyone wants that!

I want you to dig deep.  I want you to ask yourself this week, “why do I do what I do?”

Why do you want to make more money?  Why do you want to have more time?  What do you REALLY want to be doing?  After you have answered these questions make a goal that defines your success.

In the words of Napoleon Hill, “If you want to achieve success, make today the day you stop drifting.  Decide upon a definite goal.  Write it down.  Commit it to memory.  Decide exactly how you plan to achieve it.  then begin by putting the plan into action immediately.”

No one drifts to success!  Stop drifting…start planning.

This is a series of posts based on Napoleon Hill’s book, A Year Of Growing Rich.  This exercise is all about personal development and wealth creation and is designed to help move you from inspiration to application — putting skills into action to succeed in life!

A great Read

January 8th, 2010 by gforce14

This would be one of my favorite reads, you can find it on Amazon readily and if you have not read this one ,you’re missing out. All week I have be talking about success and how successful people work. I hold to my belief that the good Mister Fulghum is a very wise man

1.All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum
- an excerpt from the book, All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten
ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don’t hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life – learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.
Remember the little seed in the styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody
really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup – they all die.
So do we.

And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned – the biggest word of all -LOOK.
Everything you need to know is in there somewhere.
The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation.
Ecology and politics and equality and sane living.
Take any of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm.
Think what a better world it would be if all – the whole world – had cookies and milk about three o’clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap.
Or if all governments had a basic policy to always put thing back where they found them and to clean up their own mess.
And it is still true, no matter how old you are – when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

Happy Friday All, c-ya next week

Making Things Happen

January 7th, 2010 by gforce14
In our ongoing series concerning the habits of successful people, I have identified three basic types of people in the universe.

  • Those that make things happen,
  • Those that watch things happen,
  • Those that are not quite sure what happened.

So Today’s first question is which one are you? I am hoping avid reader that you are the type of person that makes thing happen. If you fall into one of the other two categories, Houston we have a problem.

Again, as I have been saying all week, this sounds pretty simple right? Not always, it is very easy to slip into one of the other two categories, and you may not even realize that you have.

Have you been at the same boring job for years?

When was the last time that you did something that you would say is a little crazy?

When was the last time you tried something new?

If you answered yes, I don’t know & I don’t know, you may have slipped into the category of someone who is watching things happen.
Why?
We only get one chance at this life as far as I know,( no offense to any of my Buddhist readers out there) so why not live life that way? Go Take a dance lesson, sky-dive, go back to school, do something NEW, something different to get yourself out of the deep rut that you are stuck in. I can guarantee you in your later life years, you are not going to remember a random Tuesday sitting behind you desk, that is the same as the last Tuesday was, and the one before that. Jump out of an airplane, and you’ll remember it forever……
I guess that I am talking about have a passion for everything that you do if you want to succeed. If you bring everything you have to everything that you do, everyday, you will win.

Moving on, are you not quite sure of what happened? Again I would like to know why? I am going to site a personal example here. Up until somewhere around my 36/37th birthday, I had a 32″ waist and weighed 185 pounds. Well, I looked up a 42 and I had a 38″ waist and weighed 245 pounds. I remember saying to my wife, WHAT HAPPENED?? I really didn’t know, I wanted to chalk it up to getting older, I tried to find every excuse that I could for what happened. The reality of what happened is again simple. I stopped paying attention to my body. I took me stepping out of the shower and looking at the fat guy in the mirror one random Tuesday, to make me really wake up.

What Happened I again asked myself, then it hit me. Who cares what happened when I wasn’t looking, the question was what was I going to do about it. Life does sometimes just happen when you stop paying attention, and for awhile I was one of the people that was not quite sure what happened. My 43rd birthday is coming up and what I did about what happened, was to join the Trump Network, make a plan and then work my plan, the fat guy in the mirror weighed 212 pounds this am. Life is a journey, not a destination my friends so go out and make something happen today.

What Motivates You??

January 6th, 2010 by gforce14

Today, we are going to continue talking about things that successful people do and behaviors they display. I have spent quite some time coming up with this theory (little over 20 years to be exact). So here goes.

THERE ARE ONLY FIVE THINGS THAT MOTIVATE PEOPLE, THEY ARE LOVE, MONEY, PRIDE, FEAR AND COMPETETION.

Take a minute and try to come up with something that motivates you that will not fit into one of those categories, I dare ya!!!

The next question then becomes what order do you place those things in? Everyone places them in a different order and to achieve your highest level of success, you need to take a step back and evaluate the order of these five motivators. I’ll give you some insight into my personal order and after you are done reading, think about your personal order, then place individual motivators under each category.

After you begin to understand what your personal motivators are, you can create a plan that reminds you every day what motivates you and what you are working so hard for. If you can, I highly recommend setting four to five types of goals for the things in your individual categories. They are “now goals” , “this week”, “this month”, “this year” and my favorite is “all the money in the world goal”

I don’t mean that I want all the money in the world, I mean write a sentence down on your goals sheet that starts with “If I had all the money if the world I would do or buy______________ .” My personal one reads, “If I had all the money in the world I would take a 3 month trip to Australia and swim the Great Barrier.” I also have several pictures in my home that I use to remind myself daily of what my goals are. Visual images in your workplace or your home are very powerful reminders that will help you stay on the track to success. Look at your goals everyday and reward yourself when you achieve one of them, especially if it is a longer term goal that you have been working towards.

If you are not happy with your current situation in any of these categories, do something today to change that. I am not talking about re-constructing your entire life, but if you remember from yesterdays blog, Plan your work, then work your Plan. Any step, no matter how small that heads you down the path to your goals, is a step in the right direction.

I rank my motivators as follows:

1) Love

Love for my family, and our four-legged children. Those mornings that I just don’t feel like going to work, (yup, I have them too!!!)I look at my wife, our animals & our home, and remind myself of why hard work is so important.

2) Pride

I take great pride in everything I do, from the smallest action such as opening a door for an elderly person, to every word I write and how I do business. Take pride in everything you do and strive for your levels of perfection. Just remember don’t brag, let what you do speak for itself and be proud of what you do.

3)Money

It’s money, It comes, it goes and you get more of it…..nuff said!

4) Fear

I don’t really know what I am afraid of except maybe giant man eating spiders from outer space. Don’t get me wrong, I worry about all the same things that you do, but rather then letting fear box me in, I try to face whatever I am worried about and make a plan on how to deal with it.

5)Competetion

Simple, make a game out of everything you do, play fair, play within the rulebook and play to win.

I hope that these little tidbits of advice help you a little towards reaching your goals, and if making more money this year is one of your goals, please just take a moment and register with our site for more information on how The Trump Network can change your life.

The Hard Truth

January 5th, 2010 by gforce14

The hard cold truth is that you must be better, smarter, and faster than the next person to succeed.

Read it again, you MUST be better, smarter and faster than the next person to succeed. Sounds harsh right? I am willing to bet if you read that sentence to anyone who has ever enjoyed any level of success, they would agree. So the question is what are you doing to make yourself better, smarter, and faster?
Here’s my Top Ten Tips to become the person that you have always wanted to be.
10) Take time for yourself.

If you do nothing but work, worry, and stress out you will lose focus. Read a book, see your favorite movie, go for a walk on the beach, whatever you love and have a passion for.
9) Never be negative.

If you let the negative things dominate your life you will miss out on the things that you should really focus on, there is always one positive thing to be found no matter what the situation is.
8) Measure Twice, Cut Once.
I am sure that you have heard that old adage. Any time you are faced with a difficult decision take some time to really think about it, don’t rush blindly into anything that you do. Measure your decisions twice and then make them.
7) Surround yourself with like minded people.
There is a famous quote floating around out there that read something along the lines of “The secret to my success is to surround myself with people that are very good at their jobs and then let them do their jobs” I am sure I am miss-quoting but the gist is that once you have your goals in place and you know what you want to achieve, find people that are thinking like you and want to help.
6) Learn Something Everyday
I don’t care if you learn the airspeed of a African Swallow laden with a coconut, (ref Monty Python) or you learn how to build your own airplane. Learn something, Ray Crock of McDonald’s was quoted many years ago “If you are green, your growing, if you’re ripe you rot” Be green, keep your mind alive and growing every day.
5) Plan your work, then work you’re plan.
Sounds simple right? I have talked to hundreds of people and when I ask them what the plan is I get a blank stare. They say I want to do _________, or I need to do ________. Okay so how are you going to do it? My dearly departed Grandmother used to tell me as a child “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.” When you make your wish, whatever it is, make a step by step plan of how you are going to achieve that wish. Once you have the plan, run with it.
4) Dream Big.
The only way to get big is to think big and the only way to get what you want is to ask for it. Again, both of those things sound simple, but most people, don’t know how to ask for what they want. Last time I checked, I did not know any mind readers. Never be afraid to ask for anything, and remember the absolute worst thing that can happen is that the person says “no”.
3) Think Quickly and Speak Slowly.
I have always believed that it is not what you say to someone, but rather how you say it to that person that makes the difference. I believe that you can say anything to anyone as long as it is said correctly. Choose your words carefully and if you do offend or hurt someone by the wrong choice of words don’t be afraid to apologize to that person.
2) Listen
God gave us two ears and one mouth. If you listen twice as much as you talk, I have found that you will go much farther. Knowledge is power and to get knowledge, you must listen. Then reference #3
And the number one thing to be better.
1) Have Fun
Laugh, have passion for what you are doing, make a game of the hard things. Work like you don’t need the money, love like you have never been hurt, and sing like nobody can hear you. I know I am being clichey here but those old clichés are around for a reason. If you have fun every day, at everything you do you will win.

We here at Concorde want you to know that these are some of the things that you get when you join our winning team. Leadership, guidance, experience. You get a people that want to see you succeed. Why, because when you succeed, we succeed and everyone wins. The question is what are you waiting for? The Trump Network can help you be that better person that you always wanted to be, and we have the plan to do it. Register today for more information.

A New Believer

December 10th, 2009 by gforce14

My name is Gregory Frazier, and I have been in Direct Sales and Marketing for over 25 years.

Being of an entrepreneurial spirit, I have looked at every network marketing opportunity that has ever come into being. My response has always been standard: “I’ll buy your product and try it for 30 days, if it works I’ll sign up.”
I’ve looked at Juice Plus, Mona Vie, Amway, Herbalife, The Pampered Chef, and the list goes on. When I was approached about signing up for the Trump Network Launch, I remember thinking here we go again….. The fact that The Donald was behind it did not impress me in the least, again I thought, He has cooked up another way for The Empire to make more money.

Well, I stand corrected.

I started on The Diet Plan three weeks ago and have went from 243 pounds to 221 as of yesterday.

I have not changed my lifestyle or habits, I am just eating one of the products every two hours during the day, and whatever I want for dinner. Over 20 pounds of belly fat and a inch and a half off my waist in three weeks.

Now let’s talk about the drinks. Three different beverages, one for the morning, afternoon, and evening. These are ALL NATURAL Mood Infusion Beverages. The morning blend is a Green Tea mix, the Afternoon is a Citrus Blend, and the evening one is a Cranberry. I especially love the morning one, it has a similar effect of your typical energy drink with a HUGE difference, no crash, no artificial ingredients, sugar or sodium.

These are just a few of the amazing products that are available to you via the Network. Yes, the Network is a Marketing plan, with one difference, the products actually WORK!!!!!
Welcome to the beginning of a journey to Health, Wealth, and a place where dreams can come true!
